Cooking classes at the Ecole Ritz Escoffier are like working in a brigade. Small groups share a workstation under the attentive eye of the Chefs. Mastery of cooking techniques, precision of culinary method, the cadence of service: it's all designed to develop your skills while sharpening both reflexes and curiosity. No dry theory here: you'll learn how to understand a cooking process, get a feel for how firm a market ingredient should be, and reproduce precise techniques. More than just an initiation, these cooking and pastry workshops and classes will see you tracking the footsteps of our experts, acquiring the movements and instincts of great French cuisine to replicate at home. At the end of each session, you’ll enjoy a convivial food tasting session with the Chef, or take your dish or dessert home with you – a chance to extend the experience by sharing your culinary creations with friends and family!

Experience professional cooking

In addition to leisure workshops, the Ecole Ritz Escoffier offers a wide range of professional training programs and classes, designed to support our students' plans to move into the culinary professions or prepare them for the CAP. Founded in 1988 in memory of Auguste Escoffier, the school welcomes students from all over the world to the heart of Paris for Qualiopi-certified training courses in cuisine, pastry making and culinary arts. Each course follows a clear progression of levels: initiation, perfecting, advanced. Students work in small groups under the direct supervision of an experienced Chef. The teaching approach is practice-oriented and tailored to each student's level, with the best individualized support throughout the course. Taught in French and translated into English, the courses convey the high standards, thoroughness and openness that define the ethos of the Ritz Paris.

The class is available in four-hour or full-day formats: whichever works best for you. You'll make your own Easter chocolates in a bilingual French/English setting. This personalized approach to teaching allows you to progress with confidence, no matter your level.

Easter workshops share a common thread: chocolate! It’s used in all manner of creations: tarts, bite-sized treats and an assortment of small desserts. Explore the Chefs' secret ways with chocolate as you work it, temper it, mold it or combine it with other textures. The emphasis is on balancing flavors, playing with contrasts and the intensities of each dose, as we create truly harmonious sweet delights.

Courses are non-cancellable and non-refundable, but can be postponed up to 8 days before the scheduled date.

For one-day courses, lunch is not included and a one-hour break is allowed for.
