Step behind the Ritz Paris ovens for your hands-on initiation into the iconic skills and techniques behind the great French pastries. Led by a Chef from the Ecole Ritz Escoffier, this culinary workshop in three- or four-hour formats teaches how to shape a choux pastry or create a lemon tart, a rolled cookie, macaroon or chocolate charlotte, according to the season. The class is dedicated to creating the art of great pastry-making in Paris, training you in the basics of this gourmet art, so you can craft your favorite treats at home.

A modular pastry class
Tie on your pastry Chef’s apron and step inside the Ritz Paris kitchens for a culinary workshop experience in a choice of formats. The three-hour version revisits the fundamentals of pastry-making: choux pastry, cake mixtures, rolls, creams and fillings with vanilla, chocolate or seasonal fruits. These essential recipes serve as the foundation for many classic culinary creations. The longer four-hour format uses the extra time to explore more elaborate mixtures and finishes: charlottes, lemon tarts, macaroons, mousses and precisely shaped meringues. This introductory course to the great Parisian pastry classics is taught in French, with consecutively translation into English. A Chef from the Ecole Ritz Escoffier will guide you throughout the workshop, introducing you to the correct techniques and tricks of this gourmet art. At the end of the class, take home your own creation so friends and family can share in the experience.
