Two creative worlds in one day

In the morning, push open the doors of the Ecole Ritz Escoffier and tie your Chef's apron for a cooking class with a Ritz Paris Chef. You'll prepare two recipes before sitting down to a tasting: a lunch accompanied by a wine and food pairing, and a dessert by the hotel's Pastry Chef. In the afternoon, head to L'ÉCOLE, School of Jewelry Arts for an immersion into the world of high-end jewelry making. In the intimacy of the workshops, you'll discover traditional skills such as wax carving, metal cutting and setting. At each stage, passionate jewelers share the traditional expertise that keeps this age-old craft alive. As at the Ritz Paris, the best materials are handled with precision and respect.

A taste for detail

For Chefs and jewelers alike, everything begins with the skills passed down and meticulously respected. Whether carving, seasoning, and dressing or sawing, filing, and setting - every movement is precise, every raw ingredient subject to fastidious examination. Like the jewelry creations of Van Cleef & Arpels - light, inspired by nature and imbued with movement - the kitchen, too, explores the poetry found in the material world. Edible flowers, delicate knife-cuts, see-though effects: you'll learn how to compose an expressive, balanced and refined plate, inspired by nature and the quality of the raw produce.
